You can walk right out onto the beautiful beach and relax by the ocean while enjoying the gentle seabreeze without the intense heat from the sun, plus there are several restaurants just a few steps to 15 minutes away making it super convenient to grab a bite, the pool area was clean and perfect for lounging, and the staff were friendly and attentive; however, the property could use some updating.

The room's cleanliness was questionable upon arrival, with sticky surfaces and stained bedding. The bed felt uncomfortable and the pillows were notably small. I encountered a loud AC unit, which disrupted the atmosphere. Shower conditions were unsatisfactory, with noticeable stains and issues with water flow. The lack of soundproofing allowed noise from neighboring rooms to penetrate. Temperature control was manageable, but the nighttime lighting posed a disturbance, as there were no curtains. While the location was prime, enhancements in maintenance and amenities could significantly improve the overall experience.

The front desk was super friendly and let us check in an hour early. Our oceanfront room had a huge balcony, beautiful beachy décor, and a comfy bed.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but you get what you pay for.

I loved waking up to stunning beach views every morning! The pool area was so relaxing, and the heated pool was a fantastic bonus. Plus, being just a short walk away from delicious restaurants made everything even better!

Location is the standout feature. Right on the beach, it delivers easy access to the water and stunning sunsets. The large room offered plenty of space, particularly with a separate sink area. The heated pool is a great addition. the property needs considerable updates. The elevator felt outdated, and the room had an unpleasant smell. Service issues arose, particularly concerning my service dog, which was mishandled by management. The kitchenette was bare—essentially useless without dishes or cleaning supplies. Staff interaction was hit or miss; one employee was commendable, but many others could improve in professionalism. In summary, it's all about location—but the service needs to catch up.

The facilities include a comfy bed, amenities for a short stay, and a decent pool that adds to the relaxed vibe. I did find the room a bit outdated, but honestly, the incredible beach access and nearby attractions more than made up for it.

Such a great location! You walk right onto the sand, and the pool is super clean. Loved the covered patio with comfy seating. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Only bummer was the housekeeping door slamming all morning, which kinda shook the whole place. Still had a blast with the kids!

Fantastic location—just steps from the beach and close to surf shops and dining. The balcony offered beautiful views, but some wood was soft and needed attention. The room was a mixed bag; while the air conditioning worked well, it felt like the furniture was pieced together, and the cleanliness was questionable. I asked for fresh sheets after finding the bedding wasn't changed, and despite friendly staff, the overall vibe felt off. Noisy nights made it tough to relax, and I left early. For what I paid, I expected better. The beach is great, but I’d look elsewhere next time.

The location was fantastic, right on the beach with easy access to the water. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. Additionally, there were plenty of good restaurants nearby, making dining out a breeze.
The hotel appeared a bit dated and in need of some updates. The noise from trees and the air conditioner during the night was quite bothersome.

Close to Downtown St Petersburg, enjoyed the beach with a beach-side bar, and comfy accommodations with free WiFi. Free parking was a bonus!
Who needs updated amenities when you can pretend to time travel with key entry and moldy shower curtains? .

The location was fantastic—just a stone's throw away from the beach with convenient luggage carriers and an elevator for easy access. The view from the room was absolutely stunning, and the affordable price made it a great value for a beachfront stay.
The experience was dampened by various issues. The staff was unhelpful, there was no complimentary breakfast, and the kitchen was poorly stocked with no cutlery or pots available.

The room we stayed in was pretty basic and didn't have the usual amenities you'd expect. The kitchen area had plenty of cupboards, but there wasn't a single traditional plate or cup in sight. We had to make do with paper coffee cups and water cups in a plastic bag, which was a bit frustrating and wasteful. The lack of proper dining ware was a downside for us. One thing I did appreciate was the location of the rooms around the swimming pool. It was convenient to have easy access to the pool, although at times, it could get a bit noisy with all the activity. The noise level wasn't unbearable, but it's something to keep in mind if you prefer a quieter stay. Unfortunately, the building and our room felt old and a bit uncomfortable. There was barely any noise insulation, and we could hear conversations in the hallway as if they were happening right next to us. The bathroom was quite dated and small, and the inability to open the windows facing the sea was a letdown as we missed out on enjoying the fresh air and sounds of the ocean. the Sandalwood resort has its charms, like the convenient poolside rooms and the availability of pool toys for children.

We had a fantastic time at this beachfront hotel! The location was unbeatable, with direct access to the beautiful North Redington Beach just steps away. The staff were friendly and always available to assist us. The heated pool was a nice bonus for the cooler days. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, providing everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The reasonable price made it even more enjoyable!
Sofa bed was uncomfortable and lacking proper bedding.

we had an amazing time at sandalwood beach resort! brian at the front desk was so helpful, recommending great local eateries and ensuring we had everything we needed. the beach was just steps away from the terrace, and the heated pool was a hit with the kids. the staff, including the morning desk attendant, were incredibly accommodating. plus, the view was breathtaking! overall, we couldn't have asked for a better spot for our first florida visit.

sandalwood beach resort is our fave spot in indian shores. the beaches are super clean, and our room was right by the sand. can even see and hear the ocean from our room. brian was awesome in making sure we got the right bed, and he's a total asset to the hotel.

Our spacious unit had a breathtaking ocean view from the balcony. Watching the sunsets was exceptional. Despite some minor room issues like a broken lamp, we enjoyed our stay at Sandalwood Beach Resort. I'll definitely recommend this hotel.
